meet craig
I’m Craig Sharman, and I help talented people secure roles in innovative, ethical businesses. It really is that simple. After six years working in the retail eco-system at Orange and Mars, I moved into the world of recruitment. I started out at a leading global agency in 2012 before moving to one of the more boutique recruitment agencies.
In 2018, I decided to combine my experience in consumer goods and recruitment with my passion, energy and enthusiasm for tech, retail and entertainment. And that’s when RE:DISCOVER was born. My goal was to challenge the status quo when it comes to recruitment. I’m fully aware that recruiters have a bad rep, and I want to change that.
Recruitment is a huge responsibility. Get it right, you help individuals secure their dream jobs and companies build successful, productive teams. Get it wrong, and you cost people a lot of time and money. I take that responsibility seriously, and so does my business partner, Siobhan. We work tirelessly to ensure the right fit every time.
Meet Siobhan
I’m Siobhan Nutt, and just like Craig, I want to change the way people view recruiters. After graduating with a degree in Law and Politics, I took a role as an advertising sales executive for a media group and worked my way up through the company. When I was ready for a change, I approached a well-known recruitment agency, and that’s when I met Craig. He convinced me to try my hand at recruitment, and I’ve been doing it ever since.
During my seven years with a global agency, I worked in consumer recruitment, sales recruitment, digital recruitment, and the technology division. I also had the opportunity to lead on several diversity projects and charity initiatives.
Craig and I remained good friends over the years, and when the idea of me joining RE:DISCOVER as a partner came up, it was a no-brainer. It offered me the freedom to recruit in a way I believe in and continue my diversity and inclusion work.
It’s refreshing to be consulting on all areas of employment and staff wellbeing, not just recruitment, and I’m excited about where we’re heading.
